Following an extensive refurbishment which started in summer 2023 our two full size tables are now lit using the latest LED technology, covered in Strachan Superfine cloth and feature championship balls and rests to give the best snooker experience in the area.

A state of the art Google Calendar table booking system not only allows members to book tables via their smart phones but also monitors the temperature in the club and switches either the heating or air conditioning on at a preset time before the start of your playing session so the room is at a comfortable temperature when you walk in.

We have also reorganised the room so now both tables can be played on at the same time with the minimum of disruption, had new carpet laid and redecorated throughout.

Communication is via two WhatsApp groups; one for club information, the other for general banter on other subjects. The club runs a multi-divisional quarterly league for the more competitive minded members and holds a couple of social events a year where all members are invited.

The club is open 7 days a week from early morning through to 10.30pm unless there are any special events being held in the main hall. Annual subscription is just £25.00 with a 50% reduction for OAPs or unemployed members. There is a small deposit required when joining for an entry fob to the hall. Table charges are currently £4.00 per hour, irrespective of the number of members playing on that table. Club member’s guests are more than welcome to come and join in the fun at a small surcharge.

Currently there are no vacancies for new members. However, you will be more than welcome to come and check out our little club, and add your name to the waiting list if you like what you see. Unfortunately because of it’s location upstairs in the village hall the club is currently unable to accommodate anyone with significant mobility issues (but we are working on it!).
